King Charles and Princess Charlotte might have just dropped a hint, using Taylor Swift-style friendship bracelets.
Charlotte joined her mom Kate and aunt Pippa at Wimbledon, wearing a pretty blue dress with polka dots. She had bright pink and blue woven bracelets on one wrist, which were easy to spot while she clapped for the players, adjusted her sunglasses, or rested her head.
A few days later, King Charles was at the State Opening of Parliament with Queen Camilla. He waved from his carriage, showing off his red-and-yellow bracelet for everyone to see. This wasn’t the first time he wore it; fans noticed it during his visit to Wales and the Channel Islands earlier this month.
We enjoy these small royal surprises—they make them seem more like us.
Even though their bracelets were different colors, they seemed to start wearing them around the same time. Maybe this is their way of saying they’re in sync?
Taylor Swift’s influence is clear here. Friendship bracelets made a comeback thanks to her song lyrics. In June, Charlotte went to Swift’s concert with Prince George and Prince William where they took a happy selfie with Taylor and Travis Kelce. 🎉
