Princess Anne can’t remember anything about her accident in June.
On July 12, she returned to her royal duties by visiting the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships at Hartpury University and Hartpury College. Helena Vega Lozano, chair of RDA UK, shared that Anne said right after stepping out of the car, “I don’t recall a single moment of it.”
The accident happened on June 23 at Gatcombe Park. Due to minor injuries and a concussion, she spent six days in Southmead Hospital. During this time, she showed signs of memory loss.
“The Princess Royal sustained minor injuries and a concussion from an incident at Gatcombe Park yesterday evening,” the Palace stated. They added that Anne remained at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for precautionary monitoring and was expected to recover fully. Meanwhile, King Charles stayed updated on her condition and sent his love along with the rest of the Royal Family.
BBC and Sky News later reported that Anne left the hospital on June 28. Her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence thanked the hospital through Sky News for their excellent care during her stay.
We hope she’s feeling better soon.
