Prince Harry Visits Diana’s Childhood Home

Prince Harry recently visited Princess Diana’s childhood home, Althorp House.

During his trip to England, he stayed with his uncle Charles Spencer after attending Lord Robert Fellowes’s funeral on August 29, where he and Prince William were present but did not interact. Some say it’s surprising they didn’t avoid each other entirely, giving a tiny spark of hope for their strained relationship.

Harry’s visit occurred just before the 27th anniversary of his mother’s death on August 30—it was a deeply emotional time. In his memoir “Spare,” Harry talked about visiting Diana’s burial site on the 25th anniversary of her passing. He shared how difficult these visits were and how special it was bringing Meghan there for the first time.

He described placing flowers on Diana’s grave while Meghan took a quiet moment by herself. Harry felt he was speaking to his mom in his head, asking for guidance. 🕊️

Fans often wish they could see more moments like this between the brothers.

Afterward, as they returned to their boat, he asked Meghan what she prayed for; she simply replied with “clarity and guidance.”
