Nobody knows exactly when Prince Harry started having problems with King Charles and the rest of his family.
Some think it began when Harry moved to America, while others believe it all started with the release of his book “Spare.” According to those in the know, Harry hoped that by now, they’d all be getting along again. Tom Quinn, who wrote about royal scandals, says Harry thought he’d be forgiven for everything—from the Oprah interview to his memoir—and that his dad would say sorry and they’d all be happy.
“Harry believed he would get a pass from his dad despite all his criticisms,” Quinn told The Mirror. “He expected Charles to apologize for the pain that Harry thinks justified his actions.”
Quinn also mentioned that King Charles has kept calm and hasn’t spoken publicly about Harry’s remarks. But things might be different behind Buckingham Palace’s walls. Fans might recall that Harry visited Charles earlier this year after learning about his father’s cancer diagnosis, yet they didn’t meet during another London trip for the Invictus Games anniversary.
King Charles has avoided publicly fighting back against Harry’s comments but is privately very angry. He’s even stopped taking calls from Harry, according to Quinn.
However, there could be hope if Princess Beatrice steps in. Some believe she might help fix things between Harry, Prince William, and the rest of the family.

“Beatrice might play peacemaker,” said Grant Harrold, King Charles’s former butler, in an interview with Express. “She’s trusted by both William and Harry as well as by the king.”
