Prince Harry Misses England

Prince Harry, approaching 40, seems to be in a reflective mood, grappling with some deep emotions.

Royal watcher Tom Quinn believes the Duke of Sussex might be experiencing a midlife crisis. He mentioned that Harry is nostalgic for his days as an active royal and finds his Netflix projects less rewarding than he anticipated. According to Quinn, Harry was groomed from birth to fulfill royal duties, and now he feels somewhat lost. Even though he’s fully behind Meghan and her initiatives, Harry’s daily routine seems pretty mundane—walking the dog or going for a drive fills his time.

Fans sometimes wonder if Harry misses being a prince.

Quinn also touched on Harry’s strained relationship with Prince William. The tension has been high since the release of Harry’s memoir Spare and his interview with Oprah Winfrey. Since moving to the U.S., Harry and Meghan have seldom visited the U.K.—most notably for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral and when King Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis.

Harry feels torn about his family in the U.K., Quinn says. He’s increasingly isolated and understands that demanding apologies might not help mend fences. For personal reasons too, he realizes that maintaining some royal connection is essential to keep up interest in him in America.

Despite these challenges, Harry hasn’t shown anything but love for his new life in the States. In February, he shared on Good Morning America that living in America has been "amazing" and each day brings him joy 😊.
