Prince Harry & Meghan Not Invited to Balmoral

The royal family is gearing up for their usual summer stay at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not on the guest list.

Word has it from People magazine that Harry, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet were not asked to join the royal gathering in the Scottish Highlands this year. After Queen Elizabeth passed away in September 2022, King Charles kept alive her tradition of spending late summer at Balmoral with activities like hunting and fishing. Yet his youngest son and his family haven’t been included.

In June, Rebecca English, a royal correspondent, shared that when Charles was questioned about inviting Harry and Meghan to Balmoral, he firmly said: “No way.” English also mentioned that a well-informed source scoffed at the idea of Harry bringing his kids to see the King there.

Fans think it’s sad when families can’t get along.

This latest exclusion follows reports suggesting that Harry’s relationship with King Charles has worsened significantly. An Entertainment Tonight insider revealed they are “at loggerheads” over security issues and have stopped talking altogether. But there’s more to their rift than just security—Harry’s memoir and trust issues within the family play a big part too. đź’”
