Nicole Kidman is embracing summer vibes in Italy despite fall’s imminent arrival.
At the Venice Film Festival promoting her movie, Babygirl, she looked like a true movie star. Against Venice’s scenic canals and iconic boats, Nicole posed with her co-stars. On August 30th, she wore a plunging little black dress (LBD) with groovy shoes from the ’70s era.
Rocking a black Bottega Veneta dress, she flaunted her figure with a fitted top and low v-neck. The puffed sleeves had unique fishtail braids and small shoulder cutouts. The skirt flared out to almost reach her ankles, giving it a sundress feel.
Her high ponytail was sleek on top with bouncy curls—a nod to her look from 2009. She paired this with black flower earrings as she chatted with Antonio Banderas and director Halina Reijn in a water taxi.
Nicole’s bold brows, cat eyes, and rosy lips enhanced her flawless skin. A chic black watch with gold accents, stylish black cat-eye sunglasses, and retro-inspired chunky white sandals completed her look. The shoes had wide leather straps and flared heels.

In an interview for Vanity Fair, Nicole mentioned feeling “ragged” after filming but comfortable shooting vulnerable scenes under Halina’s direction since it was through a woman’s perspective.
“This story is about one woman,” Nicole explained at a press conference before the premiere. “It feels liberating because it’s seen through a woman’s eyes.”
“I felt safe working with Halina,” she added. “She never made me feel exploited; I felt part of something important.” 😊
