Nicole Kidman Revives Iconic ‘90s Red Curls

Nicole Kidman is turning heads with her iconic red hair, just like she did back in the 1990s.

In fresh pictures shared by L’Officiel, she ditched her blonde locks and embraced the fiery red once more. Her hair was styled in beachy waves, giving off a casual, messy vibe.

The sight of Kidman with red hair is like a blast from the past. She naturally had red hair early in her career and wore it straight with bangs in “Practical Magic”. During “Moulin Rouge”, she sported dark red waves. And let’s not forget her bouncy perm from the ‘80s. Remember those famous photos of her celebrating after divorcing Tom Cruise in 2001? Yep, she had wavy red hair then too.

Around 2000, Kidman switched to blonde and stayed that way except for a brief return to red for “The Undoing” in 2019.

Now, her red locks look as timeless and beautiful as ever. Interestingly, there was a time when Kidman didn’t like her natural look much at all. She once told BBC that being tall, pale with curly red hair and freckles made her feel out of place among the cool kids. Acting became her comfort zone where she felt she belonged despite being shy.
