Meghan Markle Cookbook Earns Over a Million Dollars

Despite stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Meghan Markle’s charitable work is still bringing benefits to the Royal Foundation.

In 2018, Meghan worked with women affected by the Grenfell Tower fire to create a cookbook called Together: Our Community Cookbook. This tragedy claimed 72 lives. Teaming up with Hubb Community Kitchen, she gathered recipes and stories from local women after visiting Al-Manaar mosque. The project was her first solo charity effort as a royal and included some of her own recipes.

In the book’s foreword, she mentioned how the kitchen became a place where displaced women could cook for their families, providing them with comfort and a sense of home in challenging times.

According to Express, last year alone the book generated about $111,850. Since its debut in 2018, it has amassed around £911,000 or $1,205,420. This figure was extracted from the Royal Foundation’s annual report tracking royal family finances.

Three years after Grenfell tragedy marked an emotional milestone. Meghan sent heartfelt words via voice message to Hubb’s volunteers and workers: "Harry and I are immensely proud of you all," she said, “We send our love across the pond and think of you today.” She acknowledged both their struggles and achievements over three years since the disaster. 🌟

Fans believe that such acts show how much can be done when people come together for a cause.
