King Charles Worried About Harry’s Finances

King Charles III and Prince Harry have a strained relationship, but Charles is still concerned about Harry’s money problems.

Royal expert Robert Jobson revealed in his book that while Charles is open to mending things with Harry, he’s particularly worried about his son’s dwindling finances. He noted that Harry and Meghan’s biggest earnings from their book and Netflix series are likely behind them. Now, with the public losing interest in their constant complaints, they must seek new ways to make money—perhaps even jam sales?

Meghan’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, plans to sell a variety of products like fruit preserves, cookbooks, tableware, and face serums. The couple also has two Netflix projects lined up; Meghan’s project will focus on cooking and friendship while Harry’s will revolve around professional polo. Additionally, Harry will inherit about £7 million from a trust fund set up by the Queen Mother when he turns 40.

Fans often wonder why they chose such an expensive lifestyle if money was always going to be an issue.

Jobson added that palace staff frequently discuss the “Harry problem,” worrying about what might happen when all their funds run dry. An official stated that the king and his team are very anxious about this situation.

Harry and Charles’s relationship worsened after Harry stepped down as a senior royal in 2020 and moved to California with Meghan and their kids. Things got worse when Harry accused his father of lying during a significant meeting in their documentary series. In his memoir Spare, he also mentioned how Charles often prioritized himself over family matters.
