Eva Mendes’s recent fashion choices have been turning heads.
Just days after rocking an animal-print dress and stiletto boots, she continued her bold trend with outfits that would make Carmela Soprano smile. First, she was snapped outside the Stella McCartney store in Soho, Manhattan. Mendes, the face of the brand’s fall 2024 campaign, sported a fluffy pink coat over a zebra-patterned midi dress and pointy black leather boots. Her accessories included an onyx ring and a Stella McCartney mini Fabella tote.
Her hair was styled in big caramel-highlighted curls swept to one side, and her makeup featured smoky eyes with a soft pink lip.
Later that evening, Mendes appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about her new children’s book “Desi, Mami, and The Never-Ending Worries.” For this event, she wore a croc-embossed coat cinched at the waist paired with red-orange sunglasses. Underneath her coat was a gray plaid pantsuit with gold jewelry that made her look more like a mob boss than a mob wife. 🕶️

Mendes’s book may signal a career shift for her. On Good Morning America Tuesday, she was asked if she’d go back to acting now that Esmerelda and Amada are getting older. She responded uncertainly about future roles but mentioned how working with Ryan Gosling felt like reaching the peak of her career.

“I don’t know if I’ll act again,” Mendes said thoughtfully. “Working with Ryan was such an amazing experience; it felt like the perfect high point to step away.”
