Demi Moore’s Sweet Nickname from Granddaughter

Demi Moore is thrilled about being a grandmother, but her granddaughter Louetta doesn’t call her that.

On the Today show, Demi chatted with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie about her special nickname, ‘Yaya’, which means grandma in Greek. Rumer Willis, Demi’s daughter, had Louetta last year with Derek Richard Thomas. Demi couldn’t help but gush over her granddaughter, sharing how adorable she is and mentioning a funny photo Rumer sent of Louetta with spaghetti on her head.

Earlier this summer, Demi posted a picture on Instagram showing Louetta enjoying the sun with Rumer and Tallulah. She captioned it “Summer days!” showing just how much fun they were having.

Sometimes we forget how celebrities have families just like us.

During the interview, Demi also discussed her new movie, The Substance. Unlike her previous fun roles in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and TV shows like Feud and Brave New World, this film was tough for her. It was both physically and emotionally demanding but left a powerful impact on those who watched it at Cannes Film Festival where it received an 11-minute standing ovation!

“I knew this role would push me,” Demi said. “It required a lot of emotional vulnerability and presented numerous challenges physically too.” She emphasized that what moved her most about the film wasn’t just the storyline but also its message about inner violence we inflict upon ourselves. 🌟
