Rent Princess Margaret’s Vacation Home

Ever dreamed of vacationing like a royal? Well, you might have the chance if you can shell out some serious cash.

Les Jolies Eaux, Princess Margaret’s favorite getaway on Mustique Island in the Caribbean, is up for grabs to rent. This beautiful villa, created by Oliver Messel just for Margaret, was her escape spot from the hustle and bustle of royal life.

Staying here isn’t cheap! A week at Les Jolies Eaux can cost between $33,000 and $47,000. Imagine living in a place that offers five bedrooms fitting 10 adults and two kids, a private plunge pool, and even a dining pavilion. The villa comes with its own team: a butler, chef, gardener, and two housekeepers to take care of everything.

“Guests enter through a grand courtyard into the Great Room with stunning views of the sea,” says the rental site. “The front side leads to lawns that stretch down to Gelliceaux beach—a hidden gem named after the house.”

People love how it’s full of history and offers views that change all the time 🌅.

Way back when Colin Tennant gave Margaret a 10-acre plot on Mustique as a wedding gift in 1960. Her marriage with Antony Armstrong-Jones didn’t last; they split in 1976. That same year, photos surfaced of her with Roddy Llewellyn at this secret hideaway.

Fans often wonder what it feels like to live such lavish lives.

In 1997, before Margaret passed away in 2002, she handed over this paradise home to her son David who sold it later to American Jim Murray after she died according to Hello!

Mustique still holds charm for royals today. Kate Middleton and Prince William first enjoyed its beauty back in 2008 when they were dating and have returned several times since then for family vacations.
