Meghan Markle: Ultimate Girl’s Girl

Meghan Markle made waves in Colombia with a thoughtful act during the Afro Women and Power forum.

In the middle of a lively panel discussion, Meghan noticed something amiss. She got up, walked across the stage, and adjusted a fan to better serve herself and the other speakers. The crowd saw this as a sweet gesture.

Colombian Vice President Francia Márquez started clapping when Meghan fixed the fan, sparking laughter among the other panelists. Back in her seat, Meghan impressed everyone by speaking Spanish again—she had already shown off her skills earlier—saying “Mujeres ayudando mujeres” which means “Women helping women.”

One panelist thanked Markle warmly in Spanish for stepping up. It seemed like such a natural thing for her to do.

Fans love when celebs show they are just like us.

Meghan used this moment to highlight how women are natural problem solvers. “If we see something wrong, we fix it,” she said. She added that multitasking and fixing things come naturally to women 💪.

Throughout their four-day trip to Colombia, Meghan’s outfits were not only stylish but meaningful too. At the panel, she wore an eye-catching sequin skirt by Colombian designer Silvia Tcherassi, showing respect for local culture. Her jewelry also had personal touches—a gold pendant honoring her kids Archie and Lilibet, and Princess Diana’s famous Cartier watch that connected her with Harry’s mom.

Everything she wore seemed carefully chosen to reflect both her family ties and appreciation for Colombian heritage.
