Even though Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson aren’t married anymore, they just took a family trip together like nothing changed.
On August 4, Turner-Smith dropped a new photo dump on Instagram, and it was all about their sunny getaway to Nevis with their 6-year-old daughter, Juno. She called the whole trip “dreamy” in her caption, and honestly, the pics backed that up. Juno looked like she was having the time of her life running around the island, popping up in tons of shots and little video clips with her mom. One of the sweetest slides though was a polaroid, probably snapped by Turner-Smith herself, showing Juno cuddled up on her dad’s lap.
It’s kind of nice seeing exes still make an effort for their kid like this. 🌴
Jackson and Turner-Smith first got together back in 2018, tied the knot a year later, then had Juno in 2020. Fast forward to 2023, and Turner-Smith filed for divorce. Their settlement finally got finalized last spring.
When she opened up to the Sunday Times about the split in 2024, Turner-Smith made it clear she doesn’t see it as some big failure. “We obviously had such a beautiful moment together, and now it’s time for a new moment for both of us, and how exciting!” she said.
She kept going, saying that recognizing when something isn’t working anymore and actually doing something about it takes real courage. That’s the kind of lesson she wants Juno to grow up with too.

“The big takeaway is that this is about just as much love and joy as it has always been,” Turner-Smith explained. “This is only about taking a step forward into a better life for everybody involved.”
This isn’t the first time Turner-Smith has let fans peek into her daughter’s world either. Back in April, she posted snippets from Juno’s birthday bash, which had a whole K-Pop Demon Hunters theme going on. In the Stories she shared, Turner-Smith showed up dressed as Rumi, rocking leather shorts, a cropped yellow jacket, a white tee that showed some midriff, and a long purple braid to complete the look. She also showed off one of the party favors kids got to take home, an “all-access VIP pass” for what was jokingly labeled “Juno’s 6th World Tour.”
